color pearl for .55

Lastnight, I loaded color pearl on the .55 OS and it loads just fine, operates without locking up the pearl or sending it into a continuous reboot. However, the only color it seems to want to change to is pink(even after trying to change it to another color). Go figure! Pink is nice but not for the guys!
 But they must be working on it or something must have changed to stop the continuous reboot that prior 4.5 versions had.
Has anyone else tried it?

I don't have the Pearl but I heard color pearl was not compatible with 4.5 OS. But at least you got one color to work.

Yeah, the wrong color!! It loaded fine for me. Didnt crash or reboot the bb either. I wound up taking it back down though, pinks not for me.

I downloaded Blingball for my 8100 os 4.5.0.69 and it works just fine. The only issue is that now my about doesn't work and you have to cover the white LED under the ball with black tape. 4.5 won't let the programmer shut it off.

There is a new color pearl program out now for the 8100 ONLY called Blingball. But I cant remember where to find it. Google is always a good choice for finding stuff!!
