downloaded...installed...and running! Not much more to look at from what I can tell at the moment. Browser is snappier, looks like the camera darkness is fixed(or at least much better) 26!megs free. Looks like we got a keeper! Ill keep checkin in if I find anything else.

it's been downloaded 8 times. But only two have posted.....
go figure! I have went through all apps and seem to be fine. I am noticing a small issue and it doesnt happen all the time. When browsing on the net, sometimes the page is kind of cut off if you can follow me. Almost like it didnt load all the way. It hasnt happened but twice. weatherbug, maxmem,camera,emails,sms,viigo,crackberry all look good. I did have to reload sheets to go again but I can live with that. Ill keep checkin in as I find stuff.

This is a great share. Thank you very much. Anyone know if the White Balance has been fixed with this for the 8100?
Ive been running it now for about 12hrs. Everyhting seems to be running as it should. Originally, I thought the white balance had been cured BUT it has not. Still get the bright white when taking pics outside. Still dark inside. I tried several setting changes...did not work. Anyone else have the same problem?

It's so F-_-CK1n9 GAY that Blackberryfree, comes in here, unregistered, goes to the link, downloads the OS, and doesn't give thanks. Then slaps it up on their site, like they found the damn thing or something.... F*** Blackberryfree!!
So did this actually fix the camera for you guys? I really only did an upgrade and restore, not a complete wipe with JL_Cmdr. Is there any purpose to back up anything if all my contacts and music reside on my Sim card and micro sd card?
I think I might do that after I put iPod 2.0 firmware on my bro's touch.

I didnt do a complete wipe either. It did NOT fix the camera for me. I would always do a backup just for safe practice. GL!

Wipe and reinstall went fine. But my real question is, how do you mess up the code that works for the camera. You know what hardware you have and what made it work in the other versions? Not that I want to sound aggravated, just curious. Maybe that's just RIM's way of getting back at us for using leaked betas...just a theory.

maybe its just me and something im missing but I seem to have lost all my themes that were part of the .46 beta bundle. I liked the o2 ones in particular so if anyone can help me please getting these restored or downloaded again I would be very gratefull.
So Tragedy, there is a way to use a functional camera? From what I think I've seen on all the forums is that .18 was the last beta that had a working camera. a) Do I need to go out and find 4.5.0.18 to get the cod files for the camera? b) Where would I find said cod files and where would I put them. I know that there is probably a million and one threads about this, and people always say to search first, but once you're out of the loop, it is kinda hard to find your way back to stuff.

I´m take the camera.cod from the OS 4.5.0.18 and put in the JAVA Folder (inide the OS 4.5..0.52).. after soft reset and eraser the camera.cod of the OS 4.5.0.52; and the DM said "updated"...and every OK.. BUT the camera BUG still there.. I think the problem is with the OS and no from the camera.cod (my BB have OS 4.5.0.52 whit camera.cod from 4.5.0.18)
I am not suggesting that more solutions...

I tried same thing...does not work. White balance is still present. Maybe it will be fixed with the next beta.

Im gonna stick it out with .52. The camera isnt that big a deal to me. Hopefully the next beta or live release version will fix it. I cant get over how fast .52 is especially after optimizing my berry per Tragedy's instructions.
