ok i took the 8310 out of the leather case. my battery was about dead but the screen flashed white real quick then went blank. the keyboard wont work, atleast i dont think it will.
when i push keys there is no sound and it doesnt exactly dial. I can use the voice command to make calls and the answer button on the keyboard works for incoming calls and the red button will end calls. when i roll the mouse i still get the click sound from the speaker.
 It seems to have very poor reception now aswell. Any ideas what to do ? should i order a new LCD and keyboard? seeing as part of the keyboard (answer, hang up buttons and roller ball) still seems to work and i can answer incoming calls and make voice command calls what can i do?
I fear that getting a new LCD will only give me back my screen if that. and that would be of no use if the keyboard still doesnt work.
i have done the battery pull multiple times, the LEd works fine. I havent restored the Os and not sure if that would be of any use seeing as the voice command still has the info. and allows me to make outgoing calls.
