The last release I've been able to test for the 8800 is 4.5.0.42. 

On 4.5.0.37 everything worked except the browser cursor.
On 4.5.0.42 the browser cursor worked but the VM alert didn't work.

I'm currently using the Vodafone Germany 4.5.0.37 with the browser cursor turned off and theres nothing else wrong with it.

I want to test the .48 or .52 releases for the 8800 to see if the browser cursor and VM both work on either release and to test everything else in those releases.

.52 for the 8800 exists but is hard to find at this moment. Could change at any minute. I used Vodfone .37 as well for my 8310 but also had the cursor issue and a lot of java.lang errors. i was glad to get off of that OS.

I have only had one java.lang error with .37 on the 8800 and that was while I was doing an all channel update with viigo 3.0 Since it only happened once and hasn't happened since I figured it was a freak occurance.

yeah, i've been able to live with .42 and no voicemail notifier. i just make it a point to check it regularly. it just breaks my heart every time i see a new OS and know that it's going to be tough to find for my phone.

Man, after weeks of searching, someone finally leaked an OS 4.5 release for the 8800 later than .42. I just found 4.5.0.44 rel 62 for the 8800. I'm about to install it, and I'll post some feedback. Hopefully a new OS will be available for the 88XX's soon. I will post a link as soon as something surfaces. Keep an eye out everyone!
